WELCOME TO EMSBÜREN.
You may already know this: Packners is one of the most modern corrugated board processors in the world as we know it. This was true even for our first site in Schüttorf. Fortunately, we’ve been on a steady growth trajectory ever since, which led us to relocate to our brand-new Packners facility in Emsbüren at the end of 2023. And our new location—just 3 km as the crow flies from the old one—is truly impressive: On a 110,000 m² plot, we’ve built 40,000 m² of production and logistics space that sets new standards.
While our machinery is relatively young compared to industry standards, we continuously invest in new equipment that not only improves efficiency but also expands capabilities. This allows us to nearly double our production capacity for corrugated folding boxes while significantly broadening our product range. Needless to say, all production steps are fully automated. With our new facility, we now also produce Packners-made corrugated board, thanks to our state-of-the-art corrugating line. This cutting-edge system supplies our five production lines with single- or double-wall corrugated board in various designs—just in time.
Did you know? Our new Packners facility represents an €80 million+ investment, features a 40-meter-high high-bay warehouse (visible from afar!), and harnesses 2.3 MWp of solar power to meet a major share of our energy demand.
Where it all began
Schüttorf
The success story of the “smart box” began in Schüttorf in 2010 with a high-performance plant for large quantities: till 2023, up to 30,000 transport and shipping cartons per hour were being produced on a single line here.
With two inline machines and one rotary die cutter, we produced enough volume here to dispatch up to 60 trucks per day from our premises. The high-bay warehouse was highly visible from the A31/A30 motorway interchange, and the conveyor bridge to our neighbor for just-in-time corrugated board supply was a key advantage for us.

HOW TO GET TO EMSBÜREN …
These directions will guide you to the reserved visitor parking lot on site. Since we have literally built our new plant on a greenfield site, the official signage in the area may still be somewhat sparse. You can already find us on Google Maps, but despite any recommendations for idyllic country roads, you should use the Emsbüren exit from the A31.
P.S.: If your electric vehicle needs charging during your visit, we have a charging station available for you.
Take the Emsbüren exit on the A31 and follow the signs to the Emslandpark Ost industrial park, drive along Mendelstraße parallel to the highway, and then turn left onto Lise-Meitner-Straße. Banners at the side of the road will show you the way. You can find our factory on Google Maps.
Before you can drive onto our factory premises, you must first register digitally at www.LKWRUF.de/packners or scan the QR code on site.
You can find us in the new industrial park “Emslandpark-Ost”, at the A30/A31 motorway interchange. Until the end of 2023, our factory was located in nearby Schüttorf for many years, clearly visible directly on the highway—just so you’re not confused.
